THE RESTORATION OF LOCKHEED PV-2D HARPOON BuNo 84062

The first photo is how we found her. The next is how she appeared only three months later going to her first air show. and the last is how she will look once we get her painted back in her original colors.

You can help us to restore 84062 back to her original factory configuration and keep her flying as a tribute to those wonderful folks from our Greatest Generation who designed, built, flew and maintained the 1535 Lockheed Harpoons built for WWII. Of the 1535 there are presently only 3 flying. Of the 1535 built only 35 were the D model with the 8 gun nose. Ours is the only D model flying today. Please help us to restore the last flying D model Harpoon by donating your time or money. To donate via PayPal click on the Donate button below. Thank you in advance for your contribution.

Instead of posting updates here I have chosen to do all of the updates on a web forum called Warbird Information Exchange. You do not have to be a member to view the posts. You will be able to find all of the updates (28 pages and growing) and follow along on the ever changing restoration of the Stockton Field Aviation Museum's PV-2D here:
